Kellie Martin is an American film and television actress most well-known for her performances in the roles of Christy Huddleston in the period drama series 'Christy Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the family drama 'Life Goes On The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series 'ER'. Kellie Martin is most famous for her part as the protagonist on the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin's acting career started at the age of 7 when an aunt, a former nanny who cared her children Michael Landon, helped secure a spot as a special actor in the film of the same name, 'Father Murphy.' In the years following her Yale University graduation, she focused on acting and was able to land substantial roles in both television and cinema. Martin is, in addition to being an actor, is also an accomplished photographer and ballet dancer. As a mother to two kids, she has been named the national spokesperson for Lupus. She has also been spreading the word about the disease since her sister's death in the age of 19.
